"After someone placed a pile of books on my sons Sony Vaio it refused to boot and he was faced with the black screen of death. Two computer repair shops looked at it and said it needed a new 300 pound motherboard (plus fitting) and was beyond economic repair. A new replacement would have cost 600 pounds, but you diagnosed the problem and for far less (including courier) re-balled the graphics chip and within a week he had the laptop back working perfectly. I am delighted with your excellent service. Great advice, personal communication by email and phone, quick professional specialist repair, courier delivery, warranty, and Paypal. You even cleaned the fan and used the best thermal compound so its now cooler and quieter. Absolutely brilliant. "

I've got a T42 and T20, so I can see that over the next couple years more will be sent up to Newcastle. I also sent off another laptop, a small 10" netbook thingy [Acer Aspire One] with a broken screen and they were fixed and returned to me after about a fortnight. Nick performed his reflow magic and all was well for a while then the problem returned, this time it turned out to be the Southbridge chip which needed pressure on it to allow the HD to load. Nick reflowed this chip very quickly and I am very happy that my ex corporate machine has has its life extended and continues to meets my computer needs. "Reflow Repairs was recommended to me by a friend who had used the service. My problem was a fault with the graphics chip on a HP laptop. HP quoted £261 for the repair others advised me to scrap the laptop and get a new one but it was only just over 2 years old. I contacted Reflow Repairs who identified this as a common problem and quoted £64 for the repair which was exceptionally good value. The repair was done within 7 working days and I was kept updated through the week which again was exceptional customer service. The laptop was returned within the time scales and is as good as new. For good service and value I would gladly recommend Reflow Repair. "
